ROLE OVERVIEW:
As the Volunteer Coordinator at Youthmix, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our mission. You will be responsible for coordinating onboarding, training, and managing volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of our organisation. By building strong relationships with volunteers, you will foster a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute to our cause.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Coordinate the onboarding process for new volunteers.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, addressing any concerns or challenges they may encounter.
Recognise and celebrate the contributions of volunteers.
Maintain regular communication with volunteers to keep them informed and engaged.
Keep accurate records of volunteer information.
Collect feedback from volunteers to assess their satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in volunteer management practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with volunteers and stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also being able to take initiative and work independently when necessary.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments, with a positive attitude towards new challenges and opportunities.
