Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiters to join our front-of-house team in delivering high-quality dining experiences. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring efficient table service, maintaining presentation standards, and providing attentive customer care across all service periods. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and a genuine passion for customer service. You will work closely with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and arrange dining tables to create an inviting atmosphere.
• Welcome guests, and present menus along with beverage lists.
• Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Facilitate the filling of drink orders between customers and the bar.
• Ensure that the restaurant and service areas are always well presented.
• Suggest additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks, when appropriate.
• Open bottles and pour beverages, including mixing cocktails and assisting with cellar operations.
• Obtain amenities for patrons with specific needs, such as highchairs for parents.
• Recommend dishes and wines that complement our fine dining offerings.
• Clear tables and return used dishes and cutlery to the kitchen efficiently.
• Remove empty bottles and used glasses from tables, ensuring a tidy dining area.
• Cash up till the end of every shift.
• Memorize the menu for on-demand recitation.
• Observe and follow all workplace safety practices.
Qualifications:
• Must have diploma in hospitality.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Waiter or in relevant role
• Previous experience in a wait staff role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and wine pairing is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Salary:
