About the team Our Grid Delivery division oversees all work on New Zealand's transmission network, including project and maintenance activities carried out by our service providers. Our geographically dispersed Warehouse teams play a crucial role in managing and distributing the materials necessary for grid maintenance and development projects. About the opportunity Based in Bunnythorpe, you'll manage inventory and warehouse operations for a service contract handling spares and materials for projects. Working alongside the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll maintain high standards of material handling and stock control to ensure timely on-site deliveries. With no two days the same, you'll enjoy the ownership and accountability that comes with being part of a small team providing excellent customer service to fulfil contractual obligations. You'll be physically fit (lifting up to 20kg) and will thrive in a varied role that includes: Receiving and managing inwards goods. Picking, packing, and dispatching orders. Ensuring accuracy in stock and spares bin locations against computer records. Assisting with perpetual cycle counting of stock and spares holdings. Supporting stock management to ensure materials are 'fit for purpose' by applying best practice warehousing techniques. About you You're reliable, focused, and eager to get the job done. With a hands-on approach and a willingness to learn, you'll bring a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to our fast-paced and lively environment. Competence with forklift/plant operation and relevant licences (essential). Proficiency in computer systems, including warehousing and inventory management.
