Our business is growing fast, and we're building a reliable pool ofcasual Warehouse Assistantsto support our team at our Christchurch Warehouse based in Islington.
This team is the engine room of our operation - picking and packing customer orders and getting them out the door to pet parents all over New Zealand.
This is a casual role, meaning hours aren't guaranteed week-to-week - but when order volumes spike, a sales event hits, or we need extra hands on the floor, we need people who are ready to go at short notice.
We operate Sunday to Friday, and shifts are offered based on business demand.

As a Casual Warehouse Assistant, you'll be picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders with speed and accuracy.
You'll be getting real pet products into the hands of pet parents all over New Zealand - and doing it with care.
On any given shift, you could be: Picking & Packing: Accurately picking customer orders and packing them safely for dispatch.
RF Scanning: Using RF scanners to select and move stock accurately.
Dispatch & Shipping: Preparing orders for courier or freight collection, ensuring they're packed and labelled correctly.
Stock Support: Assisting with replenishment, inventory counts, and flagging discrepancies.
Team Support: Pitching in wherever the team needs you most, including supporting other warehouse functions when required.
Health & Safety: Following all H& S procedures to keep yourself and the team safe.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: This role is all about reliability, flexibility, and a can-do attitude.
We're looking for Pet Sters who: Are available at short notice - when we call, you can commit.
Are available across Sunday to Friday.
Have their own transport and can get to our Avondale warehouse reliably.
Ideally have RF scanning experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
Ideally have pick/pack experience within a warehouse.
Have strong attention to detail.
Are physically fit and able to safely lift up to 25kg.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment and don't need to be told things twice.
Are punctual and accountable - the team is counting on you.
Communicate well and are a genuine team player.
